We are very proud that you can search our site in so many ways.   You can search;  by author, by reader, by title  and by ISBN.

Further down the Advanced Search page you can select format;  CD, cassette or MP3CD

You can also select looking for abridged or unabridged titles.  This information may not be available for every title as we are dependent on the publishers submitting this information accurately.   Please feel free to check with us at the shop if you cannot find what you are looking for.

Towards the bottom of the page you can check alternate spellings of authors' names - if you're not sure how to spell a name or you're not finding what you're looking for.  

To Listen to an Audio Clip

A  indicates that there is a sound clip available for the title you are viewing.   Click on the symbol and the audio clip should begin to play. We use Macromedia Flash to stream the audio clip, as this is a format that most recent internet browsers can play, without the need for any additional software downloads. However, if you do not have the Macromedia Flash Player on your computer, you should be prompted to download it when you attempt to play an audio clip. You can install Macromedia Flash Player from this page on the Macromedia web site.

Gift Wrapping 

We offer a gift-wrapping service;   for £2.50 per item, we will gift wrap your choice and include a greeting card with your own message.     We will charge no more than £7.50 per order for this service.

Delivery

We endeavour to delivery your order as soon as possible.   There are two factors to take into account when calculating how long it will take for each item to reach you.

1)   The time it will take us to source your order if we do not have stock.   Usually stock is available in 2/3 days.    It rarely takes longer than 7 - 10 working days for us to obtain titles.     If you need accurate information e-mail or telephone the shop.

2)   The length of time needed for your order to reach you after it leaves.    On the ordering page you are given the options that are available.

We do not pass on your details to any third party without your permission.

Terms and Conditions

Return of Cds, cassettes or MP3CDs

We want you to enjoy your purchase but if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return it to us (within 30 days of receipt) if they are unopened and in their original condition.  

The relevant receipted invoice on which you should make a note for the reason of return should accompany returned items.

You will receive a full refund for the price you paid less the delivery charge to the card of the original purchase

Purchases returned in person as well accompanied by the relevant paperwork and the card with which the purchase was made.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
