Unabridged Audiobook
The style of Ian Fleming is reasonably well reproduced. I am a fan of Faulks but in this venture away from his usual territory, the plot relies too much on coincidences which is comic even for a Bond adventure. Although based in the 1960’s, I would not have expected a book written in the 21st century to portray the female character as hapless The narrator spoils his performance with irritatingly silly attempts at characterising the villain and the woman with his voice. Overall an average listen only.
