Her writing style is polished, intelligent and easy to sink into. I’m captivated by her world of Mythics, demons, magic, danger and secrecy. The characters that Annette has created for this world are diverse with multiple layers just waiting for us to delve into. Hunting Fiends For The Ill-Equipped is the third story in the series, The Guild Codex: Demonized or book #9 in the whole Guild Codex Universe depending on how you decide to play it. However, I think you can start listening to it without getting too lost or needing to know stuff from The Guild Codex: Spellbound books. Annette weaves any vital info into this story. Having said that, I really think you should get them all. They are rather fabulous!
This book is very well written and I can see how this group formed together but it's hard to listen to. Robin had control issues and doesn't know how to chill. she is that one person you can tell nothing to.
Love the book series so much! Can't wait for the next one!
